Browser compatibility

The web pages have been optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 5.0 (or above) and Mozilla Firefox 2.0 (or above) at a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. Other browsers that support cascading style sheets (CSS) will not cause any problems.

If older browser versions are used, there may be graphic deviations in the display of fonts and styles.

Accessibility

The website of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development has been designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Regulations on the Creation of Barrier-Free Information Technology under the Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act.

Accessible PDF documents

Most of the PDF files created since June 2007 on the webpages of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development are accessible. These PDF files are identified by the word "accessible". However, many of the PDF files on bmvbs.de/en are old documents of which the original is no longer available. These documents can, unfortunately, not be converted to make them accessible.

In the future, we aim - as far as possible - to provide accessible PDF documents or to make the contents available in HTML format.

If you require contents from older documents in a format that is accessible for you, please mail us at the following address:

internetredaktion@bmvbs.bund.de

We will do everything we can to provide you with the contents in a different way.
